3. Monitor instrumentation
Nearly all cars are today installed with instrumentation that provides the driver with a lot of information about the car’s condition. Keeping an eye on the different dials on your dashboard is an easy way of ensuring you quickly detect problems at the earliest opportunity and have the issues looked into by a professional as soon as they arise. This does not only mean waiting for the instrumentation to go red or start beeping, monitor the rate at which changes occur and if you notice something unusual report it to your mechanic.
